Your First Visit

When attending our practice for the first time, you will be greeted by one of our friendly staff who will ask you to complete a thorough questionnaire (you can save yourself time by downloading the relevant forms below).

Upon meeting your chiropractor, he/she will ask some specific questions to fully understand your current complaint, health status and previous medical history. This is followed by a comprehensive examination of the muscles, joints, ligaments, discs and nerves. If required, x-rays maybe taken and a radiological evaluation conducted.

You should allow approximately 45 minutes for your first visit. During this time your chiropractor will use all of the information obtained to determine the nature and cause of your complaint and whether chiropractic care can help you.
Your Second Visit
Your second visit will take about 30 minutes. This will begin with a personalised review of your examination and radiological results, highlighting any concerns and important aspects about your current state of health. Your chiropractor will explain in detail the cause of your problem, your prospects for recovery and what you can do to help speed the healing process.
During this time some of the most important questions most patients have when they consult us will be answered. These include:

You will have plenty of time to ask questions before your chiropractor takes you through to begin your schedule of chiropractic care.
Regular Visits

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, your regular chiropractic visits become routine and straight forward. The primary treatment is the chiropractic adjustment. An adjustment is a gentle, specific force applied to a specific joint. Patients are often pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this procedure is.

A typical visit will require about 15 minutes. Your chiropractor will re-assess you, measure any changes and/or improvement from the last check-up and administer the necessary adjustments and therapy. You may also be given some advice or exercises to do at home.
Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before.
Miss a visit and we can lose the momentum necessary to make the
needed changes.
